Thyme - thymus vulgaris

Roman soldiers used to bathe in THYME infused water to give them courage and vigour.

In the Middles Ages ladies used to embroider sprigs of thyme onto the tokens worn by their knights for much the same reason.

In the 1660's there was a recipe for making soup with THYME to help cure shyness and of course we use it in our kitchens all the time for the wonderful flavour it adds to our food.

At Tier for Teens we add THYME to our Spot Stop - eucalyptus & thyme for its antiseptic and anti fungal qualities for its ability to help clean, heal and soothe inflamed skin.
